Thank You for your interest in the Cary Defenders competitive program for the 2023-2024 Season!

NOTE: Our U12 Girls team comprised of 2012 and 2013 birth years is at maximum roster size. We are no longer taking tryouts or rostering players for this team at this time.

If you are NEW to the Cary Defenders competitive program or have played on a Cary Defenders competitive team prior to the 2022-2023 season and would like to tryout for a Cary Defenders team for the 2023-2024 season you must register here.  This registration is for birth years 2011-2017 (U8-U13) players.  We will not be forming teams for players who are older than birth years 2011 for the 2023-2024 season.

CURRENT CARY DEFENDERS PLAYERS ON A COMPETITIVE TEAM FOR THE 2022-2023 SEASON - You DO NOT need to register for a tryout.   You will receive a separate communication from Cary Soccer regarding the 2023-2024 season and registration.

There is NO fee to tryout!

Age groups are determined by the child's birth year and are automatically determined  in the registration based on the year the player was born.

Tryouts for birth years 2016 & 2017 (U8 teams) will be on Friday, May 19th from 5:00-6:00 pm.  If you have a conflict with the tryout date on Friday, May 19th contact adam.pashley@carysoccer.org. 

Tryouts for U9 GIRLS will also be on Friday, May 19th from 5:00-6:00 pm with an alternate date of Monday, May 15th from 5:30-6:30 pm ONLY if you can not make the Friday, May 19th tryout.

Tryouts for birth years 2011-2015 (U9 Boys - U13 teams) will be held within the structure of the current team regularly scheduled practices.  You may sign up for a maximum of 2 practice times for your tryout based on your applicable birth year/age group.

Tryouts will be held at Cary-Grove Park - 2000 Three Oaks Rd., Cary, IL 60013. (See Map of Cary-Grove Park for details.)

• Cary-Grove Park - East - 7v7 field
• Cary-Grove Park - South - 9v9 field
